Dodge City -- Adeline Ruder, 92, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at the Good Samaritan Center in Dodge City.

She was born Dec. 20, 1908, to John and Margaret (Rohr) Ruder in Munjor.

She married Alex Ruder Feb. 8, 1926, in Munjor. He died May 19, 1968.

She had been a resident of Plains before moving to Dodge City in 1987. She was a retired sales clerk. She was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral and the Daughters of Isabelle, both in Dodge City. She was also a member of the Green Thumb in Plains.

Survivors include one son, Darrel Ruder and wife, Jan, Dodge City; two daughters, Elizabeth Baalman and husband, Cliff, and Mildred Sheldon and husband, Bob, Plains; two brothers, Henry J. Ruder and Alois J. Ruder, both of Hays; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Fred Ruder; and a half-brother, Elmer Pfannenstiel.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary in Meade with Father Leonard Stegman presiding. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Dodge City with Father Ted Skalsky presiding. Burial will be at Greencrest Cemetery in Dodge City. Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to either Young at Heart or the Good Samaritan Center, both in care of Fidler-Orme Mortuary, Box F, 212 S. Fowler St., Meade, KS 67864.
