Mother- Celia Colby Doolittle, wife- Catherine M.Gould Doolitlle, son-William; grandson of A.A. Colby,ship carpenter in his earlier years he was instrumental in building the first canal boat and boats using propellers, one of his boats was the Vandalia, accomplishments in his life included Deeprock Mineral Springs, a flour mill and Establishing the Doolittle House in Oswego. He also had build the Doolittle Block and Hall for amusement purposes.
