Emil G. Ahlff, 58, of Clinton, died at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning in Jane Lamb hospital after a six-month illness.
The body reposed in the Kelly funeral home in Grand Mound.
He was born in Grand Mound, March 11, 1882, and was the son of the late Gustave and Johanna Ahlff. He was united in marriage to Anna Meints, June 7, 1911, in Grand Mound. He has been employed by Curtis Companies, Inc., in Clinton the last 16 years.
Survivors include his wife, one sister, Byrd, of Chicago, two brothers, Hugo of Iowa City and Albert Ahlff of Bridgeport, Conn.: five nieces and nephews. His mother, father, one sister and one brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at Trinity Lutheran church, Rev. N. C. Ellerman, pastor, officiating. Interment was at Evergreen cemetery.
