Mr. Pruitt was born in Eldridge, Alabama. He retired with 24 years service from the U.S. Air Force as a Chief Warrant Officer. Mr. Pruitt was an Aircraft Maintenance Officer in a B-47 Jet Bomber Wing. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War receiving the World War II Victory Medal, American Defense Service Medal among others, as well as a Bronze Star.
Funeral services for Mr. Pruitt will be on Friday November 7, 2014 at 1 pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with burial to follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
