Robert Jean Lott, Sr., 85, of Eudora, AR died Monday, November 3, 2014 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, MS.
Robert was born in Forest, MS on April 7, 1929 to the late Lanius and Mamie Windham Lott.
He graduated from high school in Forest, MS in 1946 and joined the United States Navy.
He attended Business School in Jackson, MS and started working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Robert then worked for Texas Gas Transmission Corporation. He loved to fish, hunt, do wood carving, and work in the garden. Robert and his wife Mabel were married for sixty five year. Robert was very community oriented. He was a very active member at Eudora Baptist Church where he served in many capacities. He was a deacon for over fifty years.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, W.L. Lott, Jack Lott, and Billy Lott and his sister, Mozell Warren.
Survivors include his wife Mabel Cook Lott of Eudora, AR; sons, Bobby Lott and wife, Tammy of Hazen, AR, Mike Lott and wife, Julie of Scottsdale, AZ, Jay Lott and wife Nancy of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Julie Sorg, Lee Jernigan, Beau Lott, and Rossi Lott; great-grandchildren, Lane, Paige, Kaitlyn, Maddie, and Logan; host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora, AR with Rev. Jeff Tarver and Rev. Jimmy Wallace officiating.
Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
