Robert W. Bobo, 86, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 5:47 pm on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital.
Robert was born in McCracken County on January 23, 1928 to John and Sarah Bobo. He was one of 14 children. He served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed camping and fishing, and was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ for over 50 years. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Naomi Bobo, of Paducah, KY; his son, Robert W. Bobo Jr. and wife Vonda, of Madison, AL; his brother, Morris Acre Bobo and wife Mildred, of Metropolis, IL; his grandchildren, Ashli Driver, Megan Castleman, Elizabeth Bobo, Sarah Bobo, Samuel Bobo, and John Robert Bobo; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John M. Bobo and Sarah C. Daugherty Bobo; his daughter, Terri Ann Bobo Castleman; five sisters; and seven brothers.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Mr. Dan Owen will officiate. Burial will follow at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
