Carl Max Wayne Dunn, 70, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014, at his home from a short-term illness. He was born December 9, 1943, in Evansville, to the late James and Mary Rose (Early) Dunn.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved his family with all his heart and he was their hero. His wife, Janice, was his heart and they would have celebrated 50 years this December 15. Carl touched many lives. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed life, he believed in living life to the fullest. He will be missed by so many.
Carl was preceded in death by his son, Terry Joe Dunn; and great-granddaughter, Gracie Faith Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; daughter, Tammie (Blaine) Shell; sons, Timmy (Kelli) Dunn and Tony (Bridget) Dunn; brother, Ronnie (Carol) Dunn; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Rev. Ted Totsch, with burial to follow. Friends may visit Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the cemetery.
