Funeral services will be held at Culkin Memorial Home Friday, January 6, at 1:30 p.m., for Charles R. Brock, 64, Chatsworth, who died at his home Tuesday morning, January 3. He had been ill for three years.
The Rev. Harold Blassingim will officiate and burial will be in the Chatsworth cemetery.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the memorial home.
Mr. Brock was born May 10, 1902, at Houseton, Indiana, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Brock. He was educated in rural schools of Jackson County, coming to Illinois in 1928.
He married Alma Dellinger at Pontiac, January 20, 1930. They came to Chatsworth fifteen years ago. He was a carpenter.
Surviving are his wife; sons, S/Sgt. Charles Brock, Jr., Vandenburg, AFB, California, and Delbert, Ogden, Utah; daughters, Mrs. William (Monnie) Kirk, Kankakee, Mrs. Tom (Joyce) Brand, and Mrs. Larry (Carol) Fellers, both of Chatsworth; a brother, Walter, Bourbonnais; sisters, Mrs. Minnie Douglas and Mrs. Wanda Anderson, both of Seymour, Indiana; and sixteen grandchildren.
He was a member of the Church of Christ of Cullom.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
