Sergeant Charles Eric Hagan was born in 1921 at South Shields, Co. Durham England .Son of John Louis and Maggie Jane Hagan, He was killed when his plane, Wellington Z1466 142 Squadron crashed at Pey-Echt Limburg Holland...............the aircraft was shot down by night fighter pilot Unteroffizier Heinz Oloff of the 3./NJG 1, who was flying a Bf 110 from Venlo airfield.
The crew were initially buried at Venlo. Today, they rest in the Jonkerbos war cemetery in Gelderland:
