Samuel and Mary married on 18/03/1904 at St Margaret's Parish in Kinning Park in the District of Kinning Park in the County of Lanark, Scotland.
Father Samuel was a weaver and mother Mary was a power loom weaver by trade.

Father Samuel Donnelly was killed in action on 27/02/1917 in France and is remembered in grave III. D. 28. at Faubourg D'Amiens Cemetery, Arras, France.
