A native of Augusta, she had resided in Roswell for the past four months. She was the widow of Robert W. Wingfield, a member of the Rabun Gap Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Reid Memorial Church.
Survivors include a son, Wallace Wingfield, Atlanta; a daughter, Mrs. Hugh Charpie, Toledo, O.; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Capers Sr., Mrs. Walter Pope and Miss Julis Fargo, all of Augusta; two brothers, George Fargo, Atlanta, and Col. (Ret.) Charles C. Fargo, San Antonio, Tex.; several nieces and nephews.
