Pamela Louise Foster, 49 of Ft. Madison, IA died Saturday November 1, 2014 at her home.

She was born January 8, 1965 in Keokuk the daughter of Lewallen and Beverly Craig Foster.

Pamela graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1983 and later attended Carl Sandberg College in Carthage, IL and received her CNA certificate.

Pamela had been employed at several businesses in Keokuk through the years, including Kmart, Morse Rubber and Sheller Globe.

Pamela was a skilled artist who created beautiful portraits and won many awards for her photography. She loved animals and dedicated many hours to the local animal shelters and also fostered cats. Pamela collected many dolls and fixed the ones that were in need of any repairs.

She is survived by her parents, Lewallen and Beverly Foster of Keokuk, one sister, Zina Lorane Cate and her husband Christopher Lee Cate of Niota, TN, one niece, Christie Cate Evans (John) of Athens, TN, three grand nephews, Bradley Johnson, Ethan Evans and Matthew Evans, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her special friend, Alton Brown of Ft. Madison, IA.

A private family service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the Vigen Memorial Home with Reverend David Turner officiating. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Park in Keokuk.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ft. Madison Paws or Keokuk Humane Society (No Kill Shelter).
