David was preceded in death by his loving wife Sharon Beardsley in 2002; his parents; brother, Richard Beardsley; sister, Lori Howe.
He is survived by two sons, Eric Beardsley and Alex (Nikki) Beardsley; brother, Lynn Beardsley; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Patti & Chris Burkart.
Mr. Beardsley was a 1966 Northwest High School graduate; he served his country in the United States Navy; then attended Lansing Community College receiving his training in Nuclear Medicine.
He retired after 36+ years from Allegiance Health, formerly W.A. Foote Memorial Hospital as a Nuclear Medicine Technician. David was a member of the Rives Tompkins Fire Rescue Department for 20 years, Northwest High School Touchdown Club, and the Jackson Area Hot Air Jubilee Club.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, photography, and target shooting. He was loved by many and will be sadly missed.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life was held at the Watson Funeral Chapel Monday, November 3, with Reverend Toby Teague officiating. Inurnment was at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson Area Hot Air Jubilee Club or Northwest High School Touchdown Club Jackson, MI
