Phyllis A. York, 84, of Anderson, passed away October 27, 2014 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus, following a brief illness.
She was born April 23, 1930 in Shoals, Indiana the daughter of the late Raymond and Lula (Blackwell) Winkel.
She had worked for the former Kaufman’s Hardware store as a bookkeeper for many years.
Phyllis is survived by her sons; James (Sally) York of Daleville and Donald York of Anderson; two grandchildren and one great grandchild; sisters, Joyce (Robert) Day, Hazel (Charles) Dickmann; and a brother, Martin (Betty) Winkel.
