WAUKON, Iowa -- Dean Beisker, 59, of Waukon died Wednesday, June 4, 1986, at home.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Waukon.

Surviving are his wife, Florence; six sons, Ernie, Dennis, John and Earl, all of Waukon, Francis of Dorchester, Iowa, and Richard of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. Rosalie Mattson of Toppahannock, Va., and Mrs. Nancy Wood of Knoxville, Iowa; 19 grandchildren; five brothers, George of Denver, Colo., David of Monona, Iowa, Larry of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and John and Roger, both of Waukon, and two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Kellison and Mrs. Amanda Kelbl.

Dean E. Beisker, age 59, of rural Waukon, Iowa died Wednesday, June 4, 1986.

Services were held Saturday, June 7 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Brenner officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Ron Stegen, Ron Wood, Calvin Shindoll, Rueben Shindoll, Donald Sherman, and Gene Shogren.

Dean was born December 11, 1926 in Allamakee County, Iowa to George and Alice (Ewing) Beisker. He attended local schools.

He married Florence Fuller on June 20, 1944 in Waukon, Iowa.

He was a farmer and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He was a lifetime resident of the Allamakee County area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Marvin Beisker and a sister Georgia Riehm.

Surviving are his wife, Florence; 2 daughters, Mrs. Mike (Rosalie) Mattson of Toppahannock, Virginia and Mrs. Ronald (Nancy) Wood of Knoxville, Iowa and 5 sons, Ernie Beisker, Dennis Beisker, Earl Beisker, and John Beisker, all of Waukon, Iowa, Francis Beisker of Dorchester, Iowa and Richard Beisker of Sierra Vista, Arizona; 19 grandchildren; 5 brothers, George Beisker of Denver, Colorado, Jack Beisker of Rossville, Iowa, Roger Beisker of Waukon, Iowa, David Beisker of Monona, Iowa, and Larry Beisker of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Donald (Virginia) Kellison of Waukon, Iowa and Mrs. George (Amanda) Kelbl of Manilla, Iowa.
