HAMLIN - Mrs. Myrtle Cooper, 61, of Griffithville, Lincoln County, died Sunday in a Charleston hospital after a short illness. She was a member of Amy Baptist Church at Yawkey.

Surviving are her husband, Scott; two sons, Lesle of St. Albans and Lester of Reno, Nev.; three brothers, Arthur Mason of Alameda, Calif., Clarence Mason of Branchland and Gurley of Sissonville; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Smith of Mannington, Mrs. Brookie Tully of Mr. Pleasant, Mich., and Mrs. Mayme Estep of Griffithville, and seven grandchildren.

Services will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. in Amy Baptist Church at Yawkey by the Rev. Henry Cummings. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park at St. Albans under the direction of Koontz Funeral Home of Hamlin.

The body is at the residence.
