Graveside services were held at the Coachella Valley Cemetery for Mary E. Sharman, 93, of La Quinta, who died Thursday in Indio. Born in Grapevine, Tex., on Jan. 10, 1887, she had been been a resident of the community for 34 years and of the state for 45 years. She was a past member of the Eastern Star in Texas and of the Coachella Women's Club. She is survived by her son Robert of La Quinta; daughter, Linnie Bea of Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
