Larry Nunn, age 63, of Connersville passed away on Monday December 1, 2008 at his residence.
Born on October 12, 1945 in Connersville, he is the son of Lucien and Louise Williams Nunn, both who precede him in death.
He was the first employee to be hired at Sparkle Carwash and had the highest seniority with The City of Connersville Street Department at 38 years of service. In his leisure time, he enjoyed going to car shows and took great pride in all of his vehicles, whether he was working on them or polishing them. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Cordia Jacobs Nunn who he married on August 27, 1966, a daughter and son in law, Jenny & Jamie Davis of Connersville; two sons and daughters in law, Darren & Shannon Nunn and Steve & Jeana Nunn both of Connersville; a brother and sister in law, Michael & Saundra Nunn of Connersville and a sister and brother in law, Carol & Paul Hall of Connersville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Jordan Davis, Andrea, Arren, and Chesney Nunn, Tessia Charles, Steven, Sarah, Koty, and Tori Nunn, Christian, Cory, and Damian Rose; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant brother, Ronald, a brother Ricky Nunn, a grandson, Tevin Nunn and a nephew, Chris Nunn.
Funeral service will be conducted at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Friday December 5, 2008 at 11:00 am with Pastor John Cannarella of the Bible Believers Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
