Clarence P. Sperry, 59, of 138 Gleason av. died Tuesday in City Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in West Virginia and lived in Akron 27 years. He retired in 1967 from Goodyear, where he was a production worker.
He leaves his wife, Orpha; a son, clarence E., of Wolf Summit, W. Va.; a brother, Ernest C., Baltimore; stepmother, Mrs. Gertie Sperry, and a half-sister Mrs. Mary Jo Davis, both of Big Isaac, W. Va.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p. m. Friday in the Hopkins funeral home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Thursday. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery.
