Born May 3, 1922, in Conway Springs, Kan., to Robert and Opal Adams, she died March 31, 2004, at the Ardmore hospital.

Jean grew up in Conway Springs and moved to Vaughan, Miss., where she started her family. The family moved to Ardmore, living here for eight years, where she was associated with Medical Arts Clinic. She then moved to Dallas, living there for 34 years and was associated with The Samuel Clinic. She returned to Ardmore in 1995 where she resided until her death.

Jean was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She courageously conquered many trials in life before joining her Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven. She was a grand lady and was loved by many.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Nolan and Patricia Presley, Richardson, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Larry Hoklotubbe, Lone Grove; a sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie C. and Steve Cave, Dodge City, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by D.B. Presley; William Bert Barnes; and her son, Donald Boyd Presley.

Memorials can be made to St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 516 McLish, Ardmore, OK 73401.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
