Kara Ann Wright, 33,was a daughter of Rod and Carole (Nawojski) Wright. She is survived by her father, Rod (Anne) Wright; brothers, Kirk Wright, Kris Wright and Kerry Wright; Aunt Beverly (Ed) Boettcher; Aunt Donna Denney and Aunt Susan Nawojski; stepbrothers, John Kindt Jr. and James Kindt and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother; paternal grandparents, Durwood and Alice (Sadler) Wright; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Dorothy Nawojski and Uncle Bob (Sue) Nawojski.

Kara grew up in Champaign, and attended St. Matthew School and Centennial High School. Swimming became an important part of her early life. At age 10, she was in a relay that broke the national record, and at Centennial, she was a four-time state qualifier.

Kara was a loving and beautiful young woman who was passionate about helping others. She graduated magna cum laude from college and began a nursing career soon afterward that lasted until her death. Along the way, Kara acquired friends wherever she went, and was loved by all.
