Heath A. Phillips, died on October 23, 2014. He was 30 years old. He was a 2002 graduate of Thompson High School. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing with family. He was an avid Georgia football fan and enjoyed working with his computer researching anything and everything that interested him. Heath was an apprentice to be a licensed Millwright. However, the most important part of his life was his family. He is survived by his mother, his father, three sisters, one brother, one nephew, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 26, 2014 at McCalla Memorial Funeral Home with burial following at Jefferson Memorial Gardens South. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to the service time.
