KATHERINE GARCIA, 59, of Angleton passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston. She was born in Edna, Texas to the late Katherine D. and Paul Zamora, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years Robert L. Garcia of Angleton. She leaves behind two daughters Laura and husband David Esquivel of Lake Jackson and Janie Reyes and Rosario De Los Santos of Freeport, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, one brother Paul Samora, Jr. four sisters; Isabel and husband Ray Schmoldt of Manvel, Sofie DeLeon of Edna, Frances Palacios of Lake Jackson and Josephine Zamora of Manvel, and many other relatives and friends.
Katherine is preceded in death by a daughter Sonya Ann Reyes, her parents, two brothers; Ralph Samora, Sr. and Johnny Joe Samora and a sister in law Lydia R. Samora.
Visitation will be at Stroud Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 6:00 � 8:00.
Funeral service will be held at Stroud Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 10:00 with the Pastor Jeanette Aluiso officiating. Burial will be at Gulf Prairie Cemetery in Jones Creek.
Pallbearers will be Raul Tamayo, Jr., Johnny Joe Samora, Felix Silgero, Jr. Martin Anthony Samora, Fernando Alvarez, Jr, and Johnny Corralez.
