Emily Wilson Clark (age 90)
On October 29, 2014 Emily Wilson Clark beloved wife of the late William A. Clark, Jr.
Emily was born in New Rochelle, NY on October 30, 1923. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leland D. Wilson . After graduating from Virginia Tech in 1943 she worked at Glen L. Martin until 1945 and eventually worked for the Anne Arundel County Planning and Zoning Department until her retirement in 1986.
Emily was a sustainer of the Junior League of Annapolis, a member of the Chase Home Auxiliary and the US Naval Academy Officers Club. She was also a member of St. Anne’s and St. Luke’s Episcopal Churches.
She loved gardening, knitting, old movies, and classical music.
She is survived by her children, William A. Clark III, David (Bonnie) L. Clark, and Sarah C. Rausch; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family may call at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc. 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, MD 21401 on Monday November 3, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Tuesday November 4 from 10-11 AM where services will be held at 11 AM at the Taylor Chapel. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Wounded Warrior Project.
