Wayland T. Coppedge, Sr., 80, passed away Wednesday night at his
residence in Jacksonville. He had resided in Jacksonville since 1908.
He was president of the Florida Towing Corp. and a member of
the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Dr. W. T. Coppedge, Jr., of Ponte Vedra
Beach; four step-daughters; three sisters; three brothers; two grandchildren;
eight step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services in the Church of the Good Shepherd with Rev. Frank Dearing
officiating.
Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville.
