He was the son of the late Dayton and Bessie Campbell. He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Campbell, in 1998, two sisters, Louella Berry and Maggie Buckles, and two brothers, Fuller Campbell and Huey Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was of the Baptist faith and was a farmer.
Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2001 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home.
Graveside services and interment was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 13, at Caldwell Springs Cemetery.
