Lisa Dawn (Ellington) Burden, 53, of Houston, TX, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday afternoon (Oct. 30, 2014). She is survived by her adoring husband, Bryan Keith Burden, and two daughters, Amber Danielle and Destinee Kristine. Lisa was born January 4, 1961, in Wilmington, Ohio. She graduated from Wilmington High School, class of 1979. Also attended Barbazon Beauty School in Cincinnati, Ohio. After marrying her husband on June 14, 1980, they moved to Houston, TX in 1985. They welcomed their oldest daughter in July 1987, and their youngest in July 1990. She eventually went on to be a successful business woman, opening Burden Honda Care in 1999 with her husband. In addition to her husband and daughters, she is also survived by her grandmother, Ethel Evans; two sisters, Tonya Jay and Natalie Barnett; three aunts, Pamala Ellington, Judy Davis, and Rita Mullins; Father and Mother in law, Nolan and Barbara Burden; Sister in law, Nola Renae (Brian) Corzatt; three nieces, Heather, Brittany, Breanna; three nephews, Thomas, David, Christopher; two great nieces, Raven, Serenity; one great nephew, Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents Gregg and Ruth Ann Ellington; her Grandmother Alta Ellington; her aunt Margie Pennington; and grandfather Robert Evans. Services will be held Monday (Nov. 3, 2014) at the KLEIN FUNERAL HOME 16131 Champion Forest Drive Spring, TX 77379. Visitation begins at 5:30 p.m. She will be buried at the Sugar Grove Cemetery in Wilmington, OH, following a service in her hometown.
