Blanche Mae Johnson was the Daughter of Amon Warren Johnson and Ida Mae Alvina Halstead...both parents were from Pennsylvania.
Her Father was a Conductor for the Railroad.
She had two Sisters, and a brother, Tilman. He also worked for the railroad, in Ft. Dodge, Iowa.
When she was 16, her Father gave his consent for marriage, to another Railroad worker, Bascomb Leigh Coburn. They lived in Ft Dodge, Iowa. Their first son was Elbert Leigh Coburn, and then later, Isabel Madeline Coburn. They moved to Sioux City, by 1920.
Blanche suffered from Muscular Dystrophy, and complications from this disease, took her life at a young age. This malady was also passed down to her Son, Elbert.
