BOSSIER CITY - Celebration of life service for Mary "Margie" Hunter will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Mary was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Coushatta. She enjoyed bowling, oil painting, crafting and gaming.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Golda Harriett, brother, Darrell, sisters, Betty, Rosie, Beverly and Shirley.

Mary is survived by her husband, William Faxon Hunter, three children: Charles "Chuck" Hunter, Rita Deuth and husband Greg and Kim Pettigrew and husband John. She is also survived by one sister, Charlene Stine; brother-in-law, Art; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Paul, Laura, Lisa, Leah, Jonathan and sister-in-law, Dr. Edwina Hunter.

Memorials may be made in Mary's honor to Shriner's Children Hospital, N.W. War Veteran's Home and Grace Home.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to nurses, staff of Grace Home and the staff at Horizon Bay.
