Nesbit, Mississippi - JOANN JAMES, 68, passed away Monday, January 18, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis. JoAnn was a child of God and loved Jesus. She was a loving passionate person and an inspiration for so many in and about her Christian life. She also loved children and taught children's church and worked in the nursery. Mrs. James leaves her husband of 45 years, Richard James ; her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Lanee James; three grandchildren: Matthew, Jonathan and Shelby James, all of Nesbit, MS; one sister and nephew, Mary Ann and Johnny Lewis, many friends including: Barbara, Helen, Mittie. She also leaves Misty, Muffitt, Sadie, Rocky and Sadie. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 21 at Forest Hill South with visitation Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Thanks to the Lord God for Joann James!
