Kenneth "Pond Guy" Edward Barclay, 67, died on October 29, 2014. He served in the United States Coast Guard from 1966 until 1972 and was honorably discharged. He served his church The Connection, was a volunteer at Children's Hospital, a founding member of Mid Alabama Corvette Club and enjoyed playing softball with RASSA senior softball league. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Barclay. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, two daughters, three grandchildren, mother and two sisters. Graveside service with Military Honors at Alabama National Cemetery at 2:45 p.m. October 31, 2014. Arrangements: Ridout's Valley Chapel.
