Daniel proudly served his country during WWII and met his wife Frieda while stationed in Germany. They later returned to Springport and where married in 1955. Daniel worked for the Book Bindery, Springport Phone Company, Corning Glass, and retired from Die Cast of Jackson.
He was active at Eaton Rapids Senior Center and enjoyed fishing, and his marble game.
Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Surviving are his son, Charles (Edna) Hubbard; grandsons, Phillip Hubbard, Charles Hubbard Jr., William (Amber) Hubbard; great grandchildren, Tristin, Addison, Taylor; sister, Gwen, brother, Bill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 3, 2014.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Visiting Nurse and Hospice.
