David Basta, 63, of Joppa, Maryland passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 13, 2014; beloved husband of Jennifer Basta (nee: Corcoran); devoted father of Dustin Basta and wife Laura Basta; loving grandfather of Kyle Marvin and Colin Basta; Son of late Franklin G. Basta and Matilda "Tillie" Basta (nee: Ritter). Brother to Edward Basta and his wife Darlene, Joe Basta and his wife Wendy, Robert Basta, Charles Basta and his wife Margie, and the late Frank, Kenny, Mary and Neil Basta. Also survived by 22 nieces and nephews and the late Nicholas Basta and 31 great nieces and nephews. Beloved Brother-in-law to Jan Corcoran and Uncle to Kim Snidow. Visitation will be held at CVACH/ROSEDALE FUNERAL HOME 1211 Chesaco Ave. on Tuesday September 16, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm and Wednesday September 17, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral Services will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday September 18, 2014. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
