Frank Watson Biddix, age 84, Frank Biddix Road in Spruce Pine, the Altapass community, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the
John Keever Solace Center in Asheville.

Born on July 16, 1930 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Mose and Texie Washburn Biddix. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers; Clifford and Gordon Biddix.

Frank was a member of the Altapass Baptist Church. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Marines. Frank was a member of the ‘Chosin Few’ that survived the Chosin Reservoir Campaign. He was also a member of the Mt. Mitchell Marine Corp League. He was a Gideon and contributed to many charities.

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters; two brothers; two grandchildren, two step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at a Funeral Service honoring the life of Frank Biddix on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Altapass Baptist Church with Dr. Rocky Branch, Rev. Daniel Whetstine, and Joe Biddix officiating. Military graveside services and interment will be in the McKinney Gap Cemetery.
