BLACK, Sarah Ethel of Brandon, passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Oct. 31, at 11 am at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Ave., with Reverend Dr. C.T. Kirkland, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her father, Myers Williams; mother, Jennie Gibbs Williams; husband, James Edward Black; sons, Joseph E. Black, James E. Black, William H. Black; brothers, Julius Gibbs, Charlie Pollard and James H. Foreman, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Dorothy Black Davis and husband Jadee Davis; grandchildren, Betty Morris, James Lemons (Catherine), Deborah Wallace (Frazier), Sharon Medina (Michael), Daren Davis, Daryl Davis, William L. Black (Robbin); great-grandchildren, Selma Morris, Jacqulyn Morris, Consuella Simms, Joseph L. Morris II, James Lemons, Jr., Maurice Lemons, Michael Medina, Amanda Medina, Chasity Winn, Daren K. Davis, Naasyr L. Black, Kennedi Davis, Joseph D. Davis, Zahmorrae K. Black; daughter-in-law, Catherine Black; and other relatives and friends. The remains will repose from 4-7 pm Thursday, Oct. 30, at Ray Williams Funeral Home.
