Ernestine Graham, 81, peacefully passed away to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Chapel, with Mr. Dave Riddle and Ms. Jenni New, from The Hills Church of Christ, officiating. Interment: Mrs. Graham will be laid to rest in the private family estate of Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Friends are encouraged to gather and share memories from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Cherry Drawing Room of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Mrs. Graham was born to Ernest and Lois Lindsey Addison on Dec. 14, 1932, in Oklahoma City, Okla. She met and married her beloved husband and high-school sweetheart, Billy Graham, on June 13, 1950. Ernestine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her accomplishments were demonstrated in partnership with her husband in many successful businesses. She was president of the TWC Women's Association and served as a volunteer at The Hills Church of Christ Food Bank, and was a co-founder of the Open Arms ministry for battered women. Ernestine's passions also included, being an accomplished painter, pianist and gardener. She will be most remembered for her cooking for family gatherings. Ernestine was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Graham. Survivors: Those left behind include her devoted husband, Billy; loving daughter, Anita Graham Hall and her husband, Mike; beloved brother-in law, Vaughn Graham and his wife, Joy; grandchildren, Jeremi Hall and his wife, Michelle, Michael L. Hall, Jennifer Graham, Billy Addison Graham and his wife, Leslie, Lindsey Chandler and her husband, Chris, Adrienne Graham; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many beloved nieces and nephews; and cherished friends, David and Marva Riddle.
