He was born May 4, 1925 in Goshen to Samuel J. and Edna B. (Carpenter) Rink.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Ann (John) Schlabach and LeAnn (Phillip) Perry, both of Virginia; two sons, Samuel (Pat) Rink, of Elkhart, and Henry Rink, of Fla.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Covington, of Bristol.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Price, a sister, Mary Lou Perry and a half-sister.
Mr. Rink served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and worked as a truck driver following the war retiring from Goshen Iron and Metal.
