Son of Charles Henry and Elizabeth Egan of The Post Office, Aramac, Qld. He enlisted in the AIF on 17/8/1915 and embarked for overseas on 30/11/1915 per HMAT "Suffolk" (A23). He died of wounds received in action at the 14th Australian Field Ambulance, Belgium, aged 24 years.
