Peacefully at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility, Chatham, on Thursday, January 1, 2009, Blanche Helena Foy, age 94, formerly of Pain Court, beloved wife of the late Charlie Foy (1977).
Born in Pain Court in 1914, daughter of the late Alma Trudell and Ladislas Caron. Blanche was a School Teacher for 29 years, a member of Immaculée Conception Church, Le Club de l'Amitie and Ladies of Ste. Anne.
Loving mother of Clara Roesch (Louis) of Kent Bridge, Christine Nagy (Steve) of Kentucky, George (friend Anita) of Vineland, Russell (Nadia) of Chatham, Joseph (Shelley) of Chatham and Robert of Tilbury. Sadly missed by grandchildren; Jacqui, Brenda, Tim, Emma, Tina, George, Frances, Amy, Roseanne, Elaina, Charlotte, Ursula, Del, Sarah, Charlie, Marc and Caryn and by 15 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Therese Donlan (Mark) of Windsor, Rosalie Cote of Florida, J.P. Caron (Rita) of Chatham and Vincent Caron of Chatham.. She is predeceased by 3 sisters; Pauline Roy, Alma Richer, Dorothy Fox and by 2 brothers; L. Philippe Caron and Regis Caron.
Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday January 5, 2008 where Parish Prayers will be offered at 3:00 pm on Monday. Visiting also on Tuesday in the Church from 10 am until the time of the Mass. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 11 am in Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court. Burial will be in Immaculée Conception Cemetery, Pain Court. Donations to the M.R.I. Campaign, Cancer Society or Charity of your Choice would be welcomed by the family.
