Professional Football Player. For eight seasons (1985 to 1990 and 1992 to 1993), he played at the punter position in the National Football League with the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams. Born Donald Craig Bracken, he played collegiate football at the University of Michigan and set a record with his 73-yard punt during the Rose Bowl game played on January 1, 1981. A record for the Rose Bowl contest. Signed as a non-drafted player by Green Bay, he played in 99 regular season NFL games. In 1988, he produced a career-high 85 punts for 3,287 yards. He died of complications from MRSA.
