Obituary for Kristen Miller
Kristen Miller, age 32, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on October 29, 2014. She was a native of Opelousas and a resident of Albany. A member of St. Margaret Catholic Church in Albany, Kristen was a teacher for vacation bible school and an immense help with the youth group. A very caring and loving woman, she would always put others’ needs before hers.
Kristen leaves behind her parents, Frank and Connie Miller; siblings, Casey Miller and wife Tiffany, Hobie Miller and Katie Janise; nephews, Jonah, Eli, and Ayden Miller, and Blake Janise; grandmothers, Adele Guidry and Jeanora Miller.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Abrar Miller and Joseph Gordy Guidry; her uncle Clinsey “Joe” Guidry.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home in Hammond, on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with a recitation of the rosary at 1:00 p.m. followed by a procession to St. Margaret Catholic Church at 2:30 p.m. for the Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 p.m. Father Jamin David will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
