George H. Althoff, 419 South Pine St., husband of the late Irene Garrety Althoff, died yesterday morning after a lingering illness. He was 73.
Mr. Althoff is survived by one son, S. 1/c Joseph Richard Althoff who is stationed at Litchfield Park Naval Air Facility, Arizona, and by one daughter, Mrs. Thomas Lackman, Portsmouth, Virginia; four grandchildren, and two brothers, Ross and Benjamin Althoff, both of York.
Mr. Althoff was a member of St. Patrick's Church and of the Holy Name Society. He also belonged to the Loyal order of Moose. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
