October 28, 2014 COLUMBUS, MISSISSIPPI Leonard "Len" Haden Ferguson died in Columbus, Mississippi on Oct. 28, 2014 following a long battle with Alz-heimer's Disease. Len was born July 20, 1918 in Ava, MO. She married Jack W. Ferguson on January 5, 1936 & after graduating high school in Yale, OK they moved to Okla. City. Both Jack & Len were Federal Employees working together for over 30 years. She retired from the Federal Aviation Assn. at Tinker Air Force Base in 1975. They were longtime members of St. Mark's Cumberland Presbyterian Church where both served as Deacons. Len is preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Ferguson; sons, Jack W. Ferguson, Jr. & Mark Del Ferguson; & grandson, Bryant Del Ferguson. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kaylan Ferguson; five grandsons; one granddaughter; five great-grandsons & one great-granddaughter. Memorials may be made to: Alzheimer Assn. Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL. 60601. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Sat., Nov. 1, 2014, at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
