Bernita Marie Schuetz, 68, Georgetown, Texas, formerly of Lockhart, Texas, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009.
She was born March 2, 1941, in Hays to Frank and Lena (Stecklein) Augustine.
She was a food supervisor in nursing homes for many years. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Georgetown.
Survivors include four sons, Gordon Schuetz, Norman F. Schuetz and wife, Martina, Shannon Schuetz and wife, Karen, and Travis Schuetz; a daughter, Rose Jones and husband, Raymond; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 21 years, James Joseph Schuetz, in 1980.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Catherine Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Helen Catholic Church, 2700 East University, Georgetown, TX 78626.
