Anna Lee Wheeler, 77, a resident of Castleford, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Cedar Draw Assisted Living in Filer.
Anna was born on November 19, 1936 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Howard “Hap” and Nora C. Clifford. She was raised and educated in Hagerman.
Anna married Floyd “Ed” Wheeler on August 12, 1956 in Hagerman. Anna worked hard not just in her home but also on the family farm. She enjoyed working with the livestock but especially loved her dogs. She loved her family and she would do all she could to help them. Anna and Ed loved traveling and enjoyed their times in Mexico.
Anna is survived by: her husband, Floyd “Ed” Wheeler of Castleford; two sons, Bruce (Patty) Wheeler and Jeff Wheeler, all of Castleford; her daughter, Kay (Stephen) Grond, also of Castleford; a brother, Len (Connie) Clifford of Pocatello; sister-in-law, Jessie Clifford of Hagerman; nine grandchildren, Jeanderry, Floyd, Jayson – Brandy, Brent, Shelby, Tara, Tyler and Hannah; and three great grandchildren, Bentley, Paige and Kaleb.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; and one brother, Clyde Clifford.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 11:00 am at Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel. Burial will follow at the Hagerman Cemetery.
A viewing will be held on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to: Alzheimers Association c/o Cathy Lynch at Cedar Draw Assisted Living 4094 North 2100 East Filer, Idaho 83328.
