Maria was born Feb. 14, 1949, in Holdenville, Okla., to Charles Kenneth Tinkler and Mary Ellen (Bradley) Tinkler. She passed this life on Oct. 28, 2014, at her residence.
Maria graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Pharmacy and had worked at several pharmacies in the area, including Eckerd, CVS and Walmart. She and Charles Wright married Oct. 22, 1983, in Ardmore.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Wright of the home; her mother, Mary Ellen Tinkler of Sulphur Springs, Texas; daughters, Cindy Stubbs and her husband, Brent of Ardmore and Dianna Taliferro and her husband, Cory of Edmond; sons, Charles Wright Jr. of Ardmore and Kenneth Wright and his fiancée, Desrae; sisters, Sharon Colclasure and husband, Doug of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Patty Boyd and her husband, Jerry of Mount Vernon, Texas; and grandchildren, Christopher Joe, Shara, Chelsie, Brantley, Elijh, Chason, Mary, Zane and Callie.
