He is survived by his wife, Ruth Poynter Cunningham, of Denham Springs; two daughters, Carrie Prochaska and husband, Gary, of Prairieville, and Miriam Cunningham of Denham Springs; a stepson, Robert Earl Stanley III; three brothers, Philip, Kenneth Cunningham and wife, Juanita, Clay Cunningham and wife, Anita, of Houma; three sisters, Grace Robichaux of Cumming, Ga., Janell Boudreaux of Watson and Linda Duplantis, and husband, Sidney, of Houma; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Armond J. Cunningham, Sr. and Aimee’ LeCompte Cunningham; his grandparents, Martin and Corrine Chauvin Cunningham, Clay and Alida Robichaux LeCompte; four brothers, Armond J. “Sonny” Jr., Louis Anthony, Julius “Jules” Earl and Roy Edward; and one sister, Barbara C. Lovell.
Tony was a painter for various contract companies. He spent the major portion of his professional career at the ExxonMobil Facility in Baton Rouge. He was a believer in Jesus Christ and a loving christian brother to all. Church Funeral Services and Crematory of Saint Amant is in charge of arrangements.
