Born November 25, 1926 in Oneida, KY, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Della Hensley Wilson, a graduate of Oneida High School, a former employee of the State Bank and Trust Company, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Faye (Michael) Crawford of Lawrenceburg, and Phyllis Boatright of Cape Coral, FL; two sisters, Martha (Charles) Sims of Harrodsburg, and Sally Wilson of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren Joy (Brett) Brocksmith and Amy (Paul) Fields, both of Lawrenceburg; one great-granddaughter, Savannah Crawford of Lawrenceburg, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Walter Hensley, two brothers Ben Wilson and Leroy Wilson, two sisters, Pearl Reed and Joyce Votaw and a son-in-law, Tom Boatright.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 18, at Manchester Memorial Gardens, 400 Richmond Road in Manchester, KY with burial to follow.
Pallbearers will be nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 17, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Sims Funeral Services.
