Grace I. (Laughman) Harper, 71, died Friday, November 15, 2013, at the York Hospital.
Grace was born November 17, 1941, in Hanover, the daughter of the late Wilson B and Jennie Alverta (Stover) Laughman. Grace was a baker with Lynn's Shur-Fine grocery store in New Oxford, a member of the New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and the family dog, Star.
Surviving are two daughters, Alesia K. Reese and her husband, John of New Oxford, and Donna J. Clapsaddle of McSherrystown; two sons, Wendell L. Harper and his wife, Michele of Dover, and Douglas L. Harper of York; four grandaughters, Jennifer Donnelly and her husband, Mark of McSherrystown, Katie Harper and Lizzy Harper, both of Dover, and Cassidy Clapsaddle of McSherrystown; three grandsons, Justin M. Reese and his girlfriend, Amber Wagaman of New Oxford, and Brandon L. Harper and Bradley L. Harper, both of Carlisle; one great-granddaughter, Alyssa M. Donnelly of McSherrystown; two great-grandsons, Brady E. Donnelly and Chace R. Donnelly, both of McSherrystown; a grandpuppy, Star of Dover; one sister-in-law, Geri Laughman of New Oxford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at 10 a.m. from the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 302 Lincolnway West.
