Peter Wicoff
Peter Wicoff was born in New Jersey, and came to Ohio in 1815; he first settled in Harrison County, where he remained five years, when he moved to Ashland County, and settled on the farm now owned by William Wicoff.
For several years he was a school director; was a member of the Presbyterian Church; and in Politics was an old-line Whig. September 26,1841, he died. He married Elizabeth Bruce, in Pennsylvania, who died in 1849. Four of his ten children are still living, John, who lives in Indiana; William; Philura, who lives in Kansas; and Eleanor, who lives in Indiana.
